Two senior cardiovascular medical device professionals were kidnapped in the Philippines.

Recently, news broke that two senior executives from Chinese medical device companies were kidnapped and tragically killed during a business trip to the Philippines.

The victims included the international marketing director of Hong Kong-listed company RainMed Medical Group, and a distributor of cardiovascular medical devices who previously managed Abbott's coronary business.

According to reports, the victims were from two different cardiovascular device companies and were senior management personnel. They arrived in the Philippines on June 20th for business exploration, hoping to expand their overseas market. However, they were kidnapped shortly after their arrival in Manila and were killed on June 24th.

Based on Internet information, the two victims had met a Filipino agent at a European industry summit, who invited them to visit the Philippine market. Shortly after their arrival in Manila, they were abducted. Despite one of the victims' families paying a ransom of 3 million CNY, they were still killed. Local police are currently investigating the case and have not yet disclosed any progress in the investigation.
